Refund & Return Policy
At Research Supply Co., we strive to provide the highest quality laboratory and research supplies. To maintain our inventory's integrity and manage our fulfillment logistics, the following return rules apply to all purchases made through our store.
1. RETURN WINDOW
We accept returns for eligible items within 30 days of the original delivery date. After 30 days have passed since your delivery, we unfortunately cannot offer you a refund or exchange.
2. RETURN SHIPPING & RESTOCKING FEES
Shipping: Customers are responsible for providing and paying for their own return shipping labels. We recommend using a trackable shipping service, as we cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
Restocking Fee: All eligible returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee, which will be deducted from your final refund amount. This fee covers the technical inspection and recertification of laboratory supplies.
3. FINAL SALE & NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS
Due to safety, sterility, and hazardous material regulations, certain products are strictly Final Sale and cannot be returned. Currently, 9 specific product categories in our catalog are designated as non-returnable. These include:
- Any item sold in sterile packaging once the seal is breached.
- Specific chemical reagents or temperature-sensitive materials.
- Items explicitly marked "Final Sale" on the product page.
4. CONDITION OF RETURNS
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, in the same condition that you received it, and in its original, unopened packaging. Any item not in its original condition, damaged, or missing parts for reasons not due to our error will not be accepted for return.
5. DAMAGED OR DEFECTIVE ITEMS
If an item arrives damaged, please contact support@researchsupplyco.com within 48 hours of delivery with photographic evidence. In these cases, the 15% restocking fee may be waived at our discretion.
6. REFUND PROCESS
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, your refund (minus the 15% restocking fee) will be processed to your original method of payment. Please allow for standard banking processing times for the funds to appear in your account.
